We are a family-run embroidery studio founded by siblings Gavin and Sasha Sparkes. We started this business with one clear goal: to do things differently.
After spending years working under outdated, rigid systems, we decided it was time to build something that actually reflected what we care about — people, passion, and purpose. We wanted to create a place where creativity could thrive, where everyone is treated with empathy and respect, and where the energy in the room is just as good as the work coming out of it.

Meet Our Team
Gavin Sparkes
Co-Founder
Before launching Falmouth Studios, I spent 15 years in retail management, overseeing large teams and managing day-to-day operations across fast-paced environments. During that time, I was responsible for budgets and operations totalling £1.2 million, giving me a strong foundation in leadership, organisation, and commercial decision-making.
Throughout those years, I also saw firsthand how outdated systems and rigid structures can limit creativity, morale, and growth. That experience shaped my belief that work should feel human, supportive, and purposeful.
At Falmouth Studios, my focus is on building a business rooted in empathy, collaboration, and quality — where people enjoy what they do, customers feel genuinely cared for, and craftsmanship is never compromised.
Sasha Sparkes
Co-Founder
After 18 years in retail, I developed a deep appreciation for quality, care, and authentic customer experience. Over time, my passion for creativity naturally evolved into embroidery and printing, where attention to detail, finish, and consistency truly matter.
Creativity has always been central to who I am. I strongly believe that what we create should carry meaning and intention, not just function. That mindset plays a huge role in how Falmouth Studios operates — from how we approach embroidery and printing projects to how we treat the people we work with.
Mental health, balance, and wellbeing are incredibly important to me. I wanted to help build a studio that supports people as individuals, not just as workers — a space where creativity feels encouraged, collaboration comes naturally, and everyone feels comfortable being themselves.
At Falmouth Studios, we aim to create more than garments. We create meaningful work, through high-quality embroidery and printing, built with care, intention, and respect — for both the people behind the product and those who wear it.
Levi Ripley
Designer & Creative Partner
We’re also lucky to work closely with Levi, an inspiring designer whose creativity and technical skill play a huge role in shaping Falmouth Studios.
Levi holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design and has a strong background in textiles, garment construction, embroidery, and printing. His experience spans both creative concept development and hands-on production, giving him a deep understanding of how design translates into finished garments.
Before joining Falmouth Studios, Levi developed his skills across multiple creative disciplines, combining traditional techniques with modern approaches to embroidery and print design. His attention to detail, innovative thinking, and ability to adapt ideas for real-world production make him a vital part of the studio.
Levi brings a unique perspective that continues to shape our creative direction, helping us push boundaries while staying true to craftsmanship, quality, and thoughtful design.
